We offer adaptive snowboard instruction. This is an example of a device to help with balance.
Stand Up
Stand up skiing consists of typical ski gear and usually hand held outriggers in place of ski poles. "Three Track" skiing is usually for people missing one leg. Their remaining ski and their two hand held outriggers leave three tracks in the snow.
"Four Track" skiing is for people with fair to good leg strength that can stand and or walk. Three and four trackers will need to rent equipment or bring their own, but they can use other adaptive equipment (like hand held outriggers) at no charge.
Sit Down
Sit down skiing consists of either a mono-ski or a bi-ski. A mono-ski has only a single ski and two 'hand held' outriggers. This requires good balance and fair to good upper extremity strength and coordination.
A bi-ski uses two skis and can also include two fixed outriggers (outriggers that attach directly to the ski for stability) or two hand held outriggers for people that are able to hold them in their hands.
The mono-ski allows the greatest level of independence on the slopes, but it is the most difficult to master. The bi-ski is easier to learn, but does require more assistance from the instructor and/or ski buddy.

Blind
Blind skiing is for people with various levels of vision impairment. The adaptive skier usually uses normal rental equipment.
Dedicated to the promotion of adaptive recreational sports to persons with physical disabilities.
Program Fee's
Snow skiing is a more expensive sport due to the cost of the lift ticket from the facility as well as the high complexity of our adaptive snow ski equipment that is being used. For each participant wanting to ski with our program the cost is $40 per participant / per session. This fee covers the cost of the lift ticket, adaptive equipment, instructional fee and helps to maintain our program cost of insurance as well as related items. A caregiver or family member who is needed to be with the participant for safety reasons will receive a "Buddy Pass" at no extra charge. For family members or friends who wish to ski with the student just for fun may do so for $20. The ski session is limited to 2 1/2 hours for all participants and all passes need to be returned at the conclusion of each session. For all skiers, except participant, you must have your own equipment or you may rent them from the facility at an extra charge. Three Trackers only has adaptive equipment and does not have the ability to equip family members and friends with ski's.
Participants $40 per session (Lift ticket, Adaptive equipment and instructional fee)
$20 per session if a participant already has their own seasons pass or Pick-A-Day ticket.
Buddy Pass No charge for Lift Ticket if presence of family member or caregiver is required for behavior or medical reasons
Extra Lift Ticket $20 per person for ski along lift ticket. Person MUST have their own equipment, all passes are for session only
**NOTE - All Lift tickets are REQUIRED to be returned at the conclusion of each session. The Lift Ticket is a RFID pass and is property of Three Trackers, used for each of the students as each session takes place. If you should take a card home with you by accident please contact us as soon as possible and make arrangements for it's return. If cards are lost or taken home this causes other students to not be able to go out on to the hill skiing due to limited number of passes in our possession.
